Responding to Africa's Dilemma...

Sharon Valley Christian Kibbutz Village

Following God’s word, that time had come for the 30-year-old vision of 1987 to be fulfilled, we acquired land to begin creating A New Africa

During December 2017, we identified a 61-acre piece of land in Mubende District in mid-western Uganda, that looked suitable for a pilot project. We purchased the land in2018, and in 2019 we started building Sharon Valley Christian Kibbutz Village.

Because of our vision’s similarity to Kibbutzim in Israel, during October 2018 and again in 2019, I led 10-day study tours to Israel where we visited several kibbutzim and moshavim to study, NOT to copy and paste, but to learn from their community and business models.

We acquired land and began to build A New Africa

Part of the sixty-one acres of land that we acquired to start building our first village, fulfilling the vision of A New Africa.

Starting in December 2019 we established residential presence to commence building Sharon Valley Christian Kibbutz Village

Farming: We worked with many people from the surrounding rural villages, thus providing employment to hundreds of them.

Farming: We provided employment to hundreds in the countryside. In this photo about forty workers were planting groundnuts during 2020

Farming: Cultivating the land: In addition to manual labour we hired and utilized tractors from the Government agricultural hire services
